February 9- NCHC winter seminar regarding Horseshoeing. In conjunction with The NC Horse Shoer's Ass. the seminar will cover hoof care, shoe fit, differents shoes, hoof balance, and common  hoof problems.  Seminar will be heldat the Martin Building, State fairgrounds in Raleigh from 9 am - 12 pm.  Fee is $25. Don't miss the Southern Horse Festival at the Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center in Williamston. The NC Horse Council is conducting the festival as a benefit horse show with the proceeds going to grants and scholarships.
