May 9 - Yard sale to benefit Calicos Haven, a non-profit organization using horses as therapy for youth at risk.  Yard sale will be a community wide sale at the South Iredell Lions Club at the corner of Williamston Road and Brawley School Road in Mooresville.   The sale will start at 8:00 a.m. and last until 1:00 p.m.

February 7 - Union County Saddle Club Coggins & vacination Clinic- Dr. Robin Smith will be taking blood samples for Coggins test and offring vacinations for large and small animals for a fee at the Union County Saddle Club show grounds in Monroe.  Contact Miranda Kaplan @ 704-243-4562 for directions and information.  Bring old Coggins with you for information. 

 

 

February 9- NCHC winter seminar regarding Horseshoeing. In conjunction with The NC Horse Shoer's Ass. the seminar will cover hoof care, shoe fit, differents shoes, hoof balance, and common  hoof problems.  Seminar will be heldat the Martin Building, State fairgrounds in Raleigh from 9 am - 12 pm.  Fee is $25.
