Horse or pony adoption is a good way to find a horse/pony and at the same time provide a home for an animal who is no longer useful or wanted by the owner. For various reasons; economics, change of life circumstances, changing focus, or change of location for the owner, horses are not sold but put up for adoption. Many times, the owner wants to have more control over the type of home a beloved horse/pony may be placed.
