In conjunction with The NC Horse Shoer's Ass. the seminar will cover hoof care, shoe fit, differents shoes, hoof balance, and common hoof problems. Membership Drive: The North Horse Council is conducting it's annual membership drive for 2009. According to the Council, North Carolina is the 8th in the nation for number of horses. It's time for the Semi-Finals for the City League International Show Jumping Competition! Cheer the North Carolina teams on to victory at the Semi-Finals to be held at F.E.N.C.E. in Tryon, N.C. Teams from the Southeast and particularly from Cities of Greensboro, Raleigh, Asheville, Charlotte, and Wilmington have been competing since the spring to qualify for the semi-finals being held in Tryon.
