The Equilist.net website is a product of Renaissance Horse Sales, Inc.  RHS, Inc. was developed as a company to sell quality horse related products to the equine community.  The company was developed by Sue and Brad Gibbs and was incorporated in 2006. Sue and Brad are professionals in non-horse related fields.  Their daughter began to ride at the age of 8 years and after standing on the sidelines, Sue decided to renew her love for riding.  After several horses and many experiences involved in caring and showing horses, Sue decided to become involved in the horse industry.

Through her experiences of having a fast growing, young child who showed and collected a lot of horse gear, Sue perceived a great need for a website which would provide free postings for the sale of outgrown  show clothes, tack, and other horse related items. Of equal importance, Sue felt a great need for a centralized source of data listing local supportive services and businesses, jobs available, and equine events  for all disciplines.  She wanted to provide a site where newcomers to the sport or people moving to a new area could find a place to ride, take lessons, board a horse, find a farrier etc.  The visitor will only need to click on the geographical area of interest and view all that is available regarding products, services, jobs, and events in that area.  By providing this service, Equilist.net offers the visitor the opportunity to contact the seller or service provider and conduct business directly.  Equilist is an information site only and does not become involved in any transaction.  The good news is that there is no commission or cut to your sale.  What you negociate with the buyer is what you get!!!  The listings are free and the seller assumes the responsibility of advertising their item correctly and accurately and for any resulting transactions.  (See Terms of Service)
